The ChlorSolv REACH Consortium has won an appeal against ECHA at ECHA's Board of Appeal (BoA) on performing an animal intensive EOGRTS, which was imposed on the registrants after a CoRAP evaluation in 2012.  (see decision)

French Dry-Cleaning shops on fire

January 2016

Dry-cleaners in France have been forced to use alternative (flammable) solvents instead of PER (arête 2345). Since the regulation came into force, several fires have broken out in dry-cleaning shops that did only by chance not result in harm to shop workers and people living in the neighborhood.
